Data, context and evidence for decisions
MDS MACRO is a macroeconomic research project for traders. We bring together an economic calendar, release results, educational materials and scenarios for gold and US100.
How to read the data
Actual is the published result, Forecast the expectation before release, and Previous the preceding value. Missing values are shown as a dash, not zero. Comparisons require the same country, period, units and seasonal adjustment.
Our evidence base
Economic figures are verified against official statistical agency and central bank publications. The guide links to official methodologies. The home page shows the latest synchronization time. This does not mean every indicator was published at that moment.
Facts and scenarios are different
Educational examples are not real releases. Benchmarks reflect a data assessment at the stated time. Direction and invalidation conditions do not guarantee future price moves or returns. A historical match alone does not establish forecasting accuracy.
Editorial team and feedback
MDS publications are on the MDS News channel. When reporting an error, include the page, indicator and release date.
How content is produced
Data collection, series matching and parts of editorial preparation are automated. AI assists with explanations. A figure is confirmed through its source, period and units. AI-generated text is not itself evidence of a published value. Materials are published by the MDS MACRO editorial team, not attributed to outside economists or market participants.
Dates, corrections and reproducibility
Each research article states its publication date and substantive update date. Calendar synchronization is not presented as an update to the entire article. Release time and reference period are shown separately. Corrections to figures or interpretations account for sources and revisions. Archived values may reflect a later vintage of the series.
Educational calculators show their formulas and inputs. Default values are fictional and labelled as illustrative. MDS research separates historical examples from the current calendar snapshot.
