MDS / XAU/XAG
XAU/XAG - gold-to-silver ratio
What it measures
Gold's price divided by silver's price in the same currency and units. A rising ratio indicates gold's relative strength. Gold may be rising faster or falling more slowly than silver.
Why traders follow it
The ratio does not establish gold's outright direction. In the benchmark, it is additional context rather than independent confirmation because gold is already part of the formula.
Check the country, period and source. A single value or regime label does not determine a trade's direction.
