MDS / YIELD CURVE
Yield curve - yields across maturities
What it measures
Yields on comparable bonds across maturities. An inversion means shorter maturities yield more than longer ones. The 10Y–2Y spread is the difference between those yields.
Why traders follow it
Identify which end of the curve moved and why. An inversion does not date a recession. The spread can widen while yields are rising or falling.
Check the country, period and source. A single value or regime label does not determine a trade's direction.
